The WeatherGirls started in 2021 as a small, weather-themed group of friends excited to be part of Mardi Gras! They wanted to celebrate the crazy weather we see here (and elsewhere!)
They are made up of dancers (WeatherGirls), Krewe security and overall help (Anchormen), and sometimes a special group called the Margaret Orrs! A brand new type of membership called StormChasers!
These are our non-parading but creative and crafty friends who want to be in the krewe, help out with floats and throws, but cheer us on from the crowd during parades! They also parade in Barkus, Pride, Poboy Fest, and Midsummer Mardi Gras.
