The Mondo Kayo Social and Marching Club started as a group of friends and neighbors who wanted to celebrate on Mardi Gras morning has grown over the years to be a family-friendly large walking Krewe.
The Mondo Kayo has been sharing their jubilant celebration of tropical music and colorful costumes with New Orleans on Mardi Gras morning since 1982. Recognizing their city’s connection to the World’s tropics, they march down St Charles, Canal street and through the French Quarter awakening all to the joy of Carnival!
Mondo Kayo is a celebration of music and carnival from around the tropical parts of the world.
